Cleaning of casting
Surface quality of castings is achieved with use of different methods.
Risers and pouring system are cut off by flame cutting. Afterwards surface is grinded by andromat – robotized grinder. If necessary some surfaces are ARC - gauged and grinded manually. Final quality and visual appearance of casting is achieved with shot blasting of surfaces in blasting machine with use of steel shot and steel grit or quartz sand.
Surfaces prepared this way are examined with use of non-destructive methods. If necessary, construction welding and heat treatment are carried out after tests.
